There are many types of AED unit on the market, you do not need to learn about every single unit because they are all basically the same. Each unit has an on/off button and a shock button, and all the instructions are given audibly because the units talk to you. Some units do have another button, but this is an information button, and if you push it, the unit tells you how long the unit has been connected and how many shocks it has given. This is useful information for the paramedics to know when they arrive. If you need to know more information about a particular unit, then you can usually find the instructions on the internet.
